<p class="p">Katzen lieben es nicht nur, ihre Krallen zu wetzen, sondern am liebsten haben sie auch immer alles im Blick. Am besten geht das von einer erhöhten Position aus. Das absolute Must-have für jeden Katzenbesitzer: ein guter Kratzbaum. Gebt lieber etwas mehr aus und achtet auf gute Qualität, dann habt ihr insgesamt länger Freude an eurem Kauf. Euer Kratzbaum sollte außerdem groß genug sein und verschiedene Ebenen mit Sitzplattformen oder Höhlen besitzen. Denn eine Katze, die täglich klettern kann, ist insgesamt zufriedener. <p class="p">Jeder, der eine Katze hat, weiß: Katzen und Kartons, das ist die ganz große Liebe. Kaum steht ein Karton auf dem Boden sitzt auch schon der Vierbeiner drin. Und wenn Katzen eins noch mehr lieben als Kartons, dann sind es Kartons, die mit raschelnden Dingen gefüllt sind. Das perfekte Spiel für Katzen könnt ihr daher ganz leicht selber basteln: Einfach einen leeren Karton mit Papierschnipseln füllen und gegebenenfalls noch ein paar Leckerlis darin verstecken. Eure Haustiere werden es lieben! Und ganz nebenbei ist es eine der einfachsten Methoden, um Katzen zu beschäftigen.<br>

Auch mit selbst gebastelten Futterspielen lassen sich Katzen gut beschäftigen. Dafür könnt ihr beispielsweise eine Papprolle aufheben, wenn die Küchenrolle aufgebraucht ist. Befüllt die Papprolle mit Leckerlis, stecht mehrere Löcher in die Rolle und faltet zum Schluss die Enden so um, dass nichts mehr herausfallen kann. Eure Katzen müssen das Futterspiel nun so lange über den Boden rollen bis aus den Löchern die Leckerlis herausfallen.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_11">Tipps zum Katzen beschäftigen: So spielt ihr richtig</h2>



<p class="p">Seiner Katze einfach ein Spielzeug hinlegen und fertig &#8211; so einfach ist es meist leider nicht. Denn egal, ob wir mit unseren Katzen spielen oder sie sich selbst beschäftigen: Es gibt einige Fehler, die wir fast alle machen.</p>



<p class="p"><strong>1. Ihr lasst Spielzeug liegen</strong><br>
&#8230; und eure Katze zeigt Null Interesse daran. Besser: räumt das Spielzeug nach der gemeinsamen Spielzeit weg. Auch wenn ihr tagsüber unterwegs seid, solltet ihr täglich das Spielzeug variieren und auswechseln, so bleibt es für eure Katze spannend.<br>

<strong>2. Ihr seid zu ungeduldig</strong><br>
Jeder von uns kennt das wohl: Wir legen uns mit der Spielangel voll ins Zeug, um die Katze zum Spielen zu animieren. Aber: die kleinen Jäger liegen bloß auf der Pirsch und beobachten das Ganze erst einmal. Und das kann dauern. Für unser menschliches Gefühl oft zu lange. Doch ihr solltet das Zögern eurer Katze nicht als Desinteresse deuten. Vor allem erwachsene Katzen sind erfahrene Jäger, die ihre Beute erst genau beobachten, bevor sie zuschlagen. Also nur nicht die Geduld verlieren!<br>

<strong>3. Ihr habt kein regelmäßiges Ritual</strong><br>
Auch Katzen freuen sich über geregelte Tagesabläufe und eine gewisse Struktur in ihrem Alltag. Spielt ihr zum Beispiel jeden Tag zur gleichen Zeit mit eurer Katze, dann kann sich euer Vierbeiner jeden Tag auf etwas freuen.<br>

<strong>4. Ihr spielt, obwohl ihr keine Lust habt</strong><br>
Manchmal haben wir das Gefühl, dass es &#8222;mal wieder Zeit&#8220; wird, um mit unserer Katze zu spielen. Doch Katzen sind sehr sensible Tiere und spüren in der Regel sofort, wenn wir nicht richtig bei der Sache sind. Und das führt dazu, dass nicht nur ihre keine Lust habt, sondern auch eure Katze schnell die Lust verliert. Daher: Spielt lieber dann, wenn ihr auch selber Lust habt.</p>
