<p class="p">Das Helix-Piercing gehört zu den Klassikern unter den Ohrpiercings. Dabei handelt es sich um einen Ohrring am oberen, äußeren Rand der Ohrmuschel, der sogenannten Helix.<br>Da das Piercing durch Knorpelgewebe gestochen wird, braucht es etwas länger als ein gewöhnliches Ohrloch, um vollständig abzuheilen.</p>



<p class="p"><em>Ganz wichtig vorab:<strong> </strong></em><strong>Ein Helix-Piercing solltest du ausschließlich in einem professionellen Piercing-Studio stechen und es auf keinen Fall beim Juwelier mit einer herkömmlichen Ohrloch-Pistole schießen lassen</strong>.<br><br>Beim Durchschießen der Helix können Nerven verletzt werden und heftige Entzündungen auftreten, sodass das Piercing nicht selten nach kurzer Zeit wieder herausgenommen werden muss. <h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_2">Helix-Piercing: So wird das Ohrpiercing gestochen</h2>



<p class="p">Vor dem eigentlichen Stechen wird der Piercer zunächst euer Ohr desinfizieren und die Einstichstelle markieren. Wenn ihr dann bereit seid, sticht der Piercer mit einer Piercingnadel unter starkem Druck durch den Helix-Knorpel. Einige Piercer bevorzugen das Punchen, bei dem ein Teil des Knorpels mit einem speziellen Stanz-Gerät entfernt wird.<br> <br>Nach dem Durchstechen bzw. Punchen wird zunächst ein &#8222;Barbell&#8220; verwendet – das müsst ihr tragen, bis die Wunde komplett verheilt ist. Wie lange das dauert, ist ganz unterschiedlich, in der Regel ist ein Helix-Piercing meist nach drei bis sechs Monaten verheilt. Da Knorpelgewebe allgemein schlechter durchblutet ist als Weichgewebe, müsst ihr für die Abheilung etwas Geduld mitbringen. Danach könnt ihr den Ohrschmuck bei eurem Piercer austauschen lassen – von kleinen Steckern bis hin zu auffälligen Ringen ist alles möglich.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-wie-schmerzhaft-ist-das-piercen">Wie schmerzhaft ist das Piercen?</h2>



<p class="p">Viele fragen sich, ob das Piercen der Helix schmerzhaft ist. Die Antwort: Ja, ist es, aber nur kurz. Das Stechen durch Knorpel ist deutlich schmerzhafter als durch weiches Gewebe am Ohrläppchen. Außerdem befinden sich im Ohrknorpel viele kleine Nerven.<br> <br> Das Durchstechen dauert allerdings nur wenige Sekunden, sodass die Schmerzen gut auszuhalten sind. Nach dem Stechen kann euer Ohr etwas anschwellen, pochen oder sich heiß anfühlen. Aber auch diese Beschwerden klingen meistens nach kurzer Zeit wieder ab.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_4">Helix-Piercing: Das sind die Risiken</h2>



<p class="p">Der Helix-Ohrring bringt, wie jedes andere Piercing auch, einige Risiken mit sich. Anders als normale Ohrlöcher im Ohrläppchen verheilen Piercings, die durch Knorpelgewebe gestochen werden, leider nicht ganz so schnell und unkompliziert ab.<br> <br>Die größte Gefahr besteht darin, dass Entzündungen oder Hautreizungen nach dem Piercen auftreten. Auch allergische Reaktionen und Pigmentstörungen sind möglich. Treten Komplikationen auf, solltet ihr sofort euren Piercer aufsuchen. Der kann euch sagen, was zu tun ist. Die meisten Entzündungen lassen sich relativ gut mit entsprechenden Salben in den Griff kriegen.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_5">So pflegst du dein Ohrpiercing richtig</h2>



<p class="p">Für einen schnellen Heilungsprozess solltet ihr nach dem Piercen auf Folgendes achten:</p>

<li>Finger weg! Helix-Piercing nicht anfassen oder daran herumspielen. Wenn doch, Hände unbedingt vorher waschen und desinfizieren.</li>
</ul>



<ul>
<li>Piercing täglich dreimal mit Desinfektionsspray einsprühen.</li>
</ul>



<ul>
<li>In den ersten Tagen auf blutverdünnende Medikamente, z.B. Aspirin verzichten.</li>
</ul>



<ul>
<li>Während der ersten zwei Wochen: Auf Schwimmbad-, Solarium- und Saunabesuche sowie bestimmte Sportarten (Ballsport, Turnen, &#8230;) verzichten.</li>
</ul>



<ul>
<li>In den ersten Tagen Helix-Piercing nicht mit Pflegeprodukten wie Seife, Shampoo und Haarspray in Kontakt bringen.</li>
</ul>



<ul>
<li>Beim Schlafen nicht direkt auf dem Piercing liegen, besser auf die andere Seite drehen.</li>
</ul>



<ul>
<li>Vorsicht vor Kopfbedeckungen, Schals oder ähnlichem, das sich am Piercing verfangen kann.</li>
</ul>



<ul>
<li>Eventuell entstehende Krusten vorsichtig mit warmen Kamillenwasser reinigen und desinfizieren.</li>
</ul>



<ul>
<li>Piercing auf keinen Fall herausnehmen.</li>
