<p>Nach rund zwei Jahren Wartezeit ist am Mittwoch, dem 16. Juli, endlich die dritte Staffel der Prime Video-Erfolgsserie &#8222;Der Sommer als ich schön wurde&#8220; (Original: &#8222;The Summer I Turned Pretty&#8220;) gestartet. </p>



<p>Fans können sich die ersten beiden Folgen der neuen Staffel nun anschauen. Wer die Romanvorlage von Jenny Han gelesen hat, wird jedoch direkt einen Unterschied bemerken. </p>

<p>Ich habe den dritten Band der Reihe, <a href="https://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=14158&;awinaffid=701311&;clickref=gf-s-5669347-21&;ued=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.thalia.de%2Fshop%2Fhome%2Fartikeldetails%2FA1069888723" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">&#8222;Der Sommer, der nur uns gehörte&#8220; von Jenny Han*</a>, vor dem Staffelstart gelesen. Wie auch in den vorherigen Staffeln hat sich die Serie sehr an der beliebten Buchvorlage orientiert, teilweise sogar Dialoge übernommen. Trotzdem gibt es einen großen Unterschied: </p>

<p>Kurz nachdem Belly (Lola Tung) erfährt, dass Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) sie beim Spring Break betrogen hat, ereignet sich ein tragischer Autounfall. Ihr Bruder Steve (Sean Kaufman) landet nach einem Streit mit Taylor (Rain Spencer) im Krankenhaus und ist schwer verletzt. Diese Storyline hat es im Buch <strong>nicht </strong>gegeben. </p>



<p>Doch wie wirkt sich dieser Unfall auf die weitere Handlung aus? Bellys Entscheidung, ob sie Jeremiah verzeihen will, wird sehr von Steves Unfall beeinflusst. Ihr wird bewusst, dass sie unbedingt mit dem Menschen zusammen sein will, den sie liebt. </p>

<p>Die finale Staffel bringt ganze 11 Episoden mit sich – eine mehr als bisher. Los geht’s am 16. Juli mit einer Doppelfolge. <strong>Danach gibt es jeden Mittwoch eine neue Episode, bis das große Finale am 17. September ausgestrahlt wird. </strong>Doch nicht alle Fans zeigen sich begeistert vom wöchentlichen Veröffentlichungsrhythmus. </p>



<p>Auf Instagram und in den Kommentaren zur offiziellen Ankündigung machen viele ihrem Ärger Luft. Besonders die lange Wartezeit bis zum Finale im September stößt auf Kritik. Viele hätten sich ein Sommer-Binge-Erlebnis gewünscht. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-staffel-3-so-dramatisch-geht-es-weiter">Staffel 3: So dramatisch geht es weiter</h2>



<p>Im Fokus der dritten Staffel steht die Beziehung zwischen Belly (Lola Tung, 22) und Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno, 25) im Vordergrund: Die beiden sind ein glückliches Paar und besuchen dasselbe College. Doch hat sich Belly wirklich endgültig entschieden? Schließlich ist das immer noch Conrad (Christopher Briney, 27) &#8230; Der Trailer deutet große Ereignisse an – inklusive einer Hochzeit. </p>
