<p>„Der Sommer, als ich schön wurde“ trifft auf „Pretty Little Liars“: In der neuen Buchverfilmung auf Amazon Prime Video geht es um Freundschaft, Verrat und einen mysteriösen Unfall. Nachdem das Buch in den USA zum New York Times Bestseller und in Deutschland auf TikTok gehypt wurde, können sich jetzt auch Serienfans auf die mysteriöse Geschichte der wohlhabenden Familie Sinclair freuen. Starttermin für „Solange wir lügen“ ist bereits der <strong>18. Juni 2025</strong>. Insgesamt acht Episoden wird es geben.</p>



<p>Im Mittelpunkt steht <strong>Cadence Sinclair Eastman</strong> (gespielt von Emily Alyn Lind), ein privilegiertes Teenager-Mädchen aus einer einflussreichen Familie. Jeden Sommer verbringt sie gemeinsam mit ihrer Clique, den sogenannten „Lügnern“, unbeschwerte Tage auf der Privatinsel ihres Großvaters in Neuengland – bis ein mysteriöser Unfall alles verändert. Cadence kämpft mit Erinnerungslücken und ahnt bald: Ihre besten Freunde und die eigene Familie verbergen etwas.</p>

<p>Neben Emily Alyn Lind sind viele weitere bekannte Gesichter in der neuen Prime Video-Serie zu sehen. Unter anderem können sich <strong>„Vampire Diaries“-Fans</strong> auf ein Wiedersehen mit Schauspielerin Candice King (Caroline Forbes) freuen! Sie spielt eine der Mütter der Teenager. Auch Serienmacherin Juli Plec ist vor allem als Schöpferin von „Vampire Diaries“ bekannt.</p>
