<p>Shepherd&#8217;s Pie ist ein klassisches Gericht aus Großbritannien und Irland, das typischerweise aus gehacktem Lammfleisch und hausgemachtem Kartoffelpüree besteht. Seit ich denken kann, ist es auch in meiner Familie ein traditionelles Gericht, das seit Generationen gegessen wird. <br><br>Seit ich vor sechs Jahren aufgehört habe, Fleisch zu essen, habe ich den Shepherd’s Pie meines Vaters viel zu oft vermisst, und so habe ich mich vor kurzem daran gewagt, sein Rezept in einer vegetarischen Variante auszuprobieren. Da es schnell gehen musste, habe ich sogar auf das fertige Kartoffelpüree zurückgegriffen. Das Ergebnis? Es kommt dem Original meines Vaters verdächtig nahe!</p>

Danach lassen wir sie kurz abdampfen und zerstampfen sie dann mit Butter und etwas Milch zu einem cremigen Püree (<a href="https://amzn.to/42PQXXu" target="_blank">zum Beispiel mit diesem Kartoffelstampfer,â¯hier bei Amazon kaufen</a>*). Bei Bedarf fügen wir mehr Milch hinzu, um die gewünschte Konsistenz zu erreichen. Anschließend würzen wir das Püree mit Muskat, Salz und Pfeffer.</span></div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5721475-step-0-1" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Für das fertige Püree befolgen wir einfach die Anleitung auf der Verpackung.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5721475-step-0-2" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Eine Auflaufform mit Butter einfetten.</div></li><li id="wprm-recipe-5721475-step-0-3" class="wprm-recipe-instruction" style="list-style-type: decimal;"><div class="wprm-recipe-instruction-text" style="margin-bottom: 5px;">Um die Fleischfüllung zuzubereiten, erhitzen wir zunächst das Öl in einer Pfanne und braten darin das Hackfleisch scharf an. Anschließend pressen wir den Knoblauch durch eine Knoblauchpresse und geben ihn zum Hackfleisch. Wir behalten ihn im Auge, bis er goldbraun und knusprig ist.</div></li></ul></div></div>
