<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-1-nationalpark-wattenmeer">1. Nationalpark Wattenmeer</h2>



<p>Das Wattenmeer, das sich über Schleswig-Holstein, Niedersachsen und Hamburg erstreckt, ist mit einer Fläche von fast 15.000 Quadratkilometern das größte seiner Art auf der Welt. Es ist bekannt für seine unglaubliche Vogelvielfalt und wer Glück hat, sichtet bei seinem Besuch vielleicht sogar die ein oder andere Robbe.</p>



<p>Einfach mal mit nackten Füßen durchs Watt laufen und die frische Brise im Gesicht spüren: Das Wattenmeer ist ein echtes Paradies für Naturfreunde.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">2. Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz</h2>



<p>Südöstlich von Dresden, nahe der tschechischen Grenze, befindet sich der Nationalpark Sächsische Schweiz. Berühmt ist das Naturschutzgebiet für seine außergewöhnlichen Felsformationen und Panoramaaussichten. </p>



<p>Die mehr als 70 Meter lange Bastei-Brücke, die zur Felsenburg Neurathen führt, ist das bekannteste Fotomotiv der Region und ein Highlight auf dem Malerweg, einem der schönsten Wanderwege Deutschlands. Die vor rund 100 Millionen Jahren entstandenen Felsmassive des Elbsandsteingebirges stehen seit 1990 unter Naturschutz.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-3-nationalpark-berchtesgaden">3. Nationalpark Berchtesgaden</h2>



<p>Das Berchtesgadener Land im Süden Bayerns ist ein spektakuläres Gebiet mit einer beeindruckenden Bergkulisse, die zum Wandern einlädt. Der Königssee mit seiner berühmten Kapelle und der markante, meist schneebedeckte Watzmann als Wahrzeichen sind Highlights in der Region. </p>



<p>Mit über 260 Kilometern Wanderwegen bietet der 1978 gegründete Nationalpark jede Menge Routen für geübte Wanderer, aber auch Familien an. Der Weg durch Wimmbachklamm ist zum Beispiel auch für Kinder gut geeignet.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-4-naturpark-luneburger-heide">4. Naturpark Lüneburger Heide</h2>



<p>Lila so weit das Auge reicht: Von August bis September verwandelt sich das Gebiet der Lüneburger Heide in einen wunderschönen, lilafarbenen Pflanzenteppich. Zahlreiche Wander- und Radwege ermöglichen es, die Region zu erkunden. </p>



<p>Der gesamte niedersächsische Naturpark erstreckt sich auf einer Fläche von 107.000 Hektar und umfasst damit die größten zusammenhängenden Heideflächen Mitteleuropas.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-5-nationalpark-muritz">5. Nationalpark Müritz</h2>



<p>Der Müritz-Nationalpark, gelegen zwischen Rostock und Berlin, beherbergt Deutschlands größten Binnensee, die Müritz, sowie über 100 weitere Seen. Ein echtes Paradies für Wassersportler*innen und Naturfreund*innen also: Das Gebiet bietet eine Fülle von Möglichkeiten zum Paddeln, Segeln und Kajakfahren.</p>



<p>An Land gibt es ebenfalls reichlich zu entdecken, sei es zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad. Die alten Buchwälder von Serrahn nahe der Kleinstadt Neustrelitz gehören seit 2011 zum UNESCO-Weltnaturerbe und sind wirklich märchenhaft.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-6-hainich-nationalpark">6. Hainich Nationalpark</h2>



<p>Der Hainich Nationalpark in Thüringen ist Deutschlands größter zusammenhängender Laubwald und Teil des UNESCO-Weltnaturerbes. Mit einer beeindruckenden Vielfalt an Flora und Fauna, einschließlich Wildkatzen und Dachsen, bietet die Region einen einzigartigen Blick in die Wildnis Mitteleuropas.</p>



<p>Für Besucher*innen bietet der Park zahlreiche Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Baumkronenpfad, der dank eines Aufzuges barrierefrei ist – so können auch Menschen mit Behinderung, Familien mit Kinderwagen oder Personen, die nicht mehr so gut zu Fuß sind, den Park bequem erkunden. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-7-nationalpark-jasmund">7. Nationalpark Jasmund</h2>



<p>Der Nationalpark Jasmund auf der Ostseeinsel Rügen ist ebenfalls ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel. Obwohl es mit nur 30 Quadratkilometern der kleinste Nationalpark Deutschlands ist, hat er durch seine schneeweißen Kreidefelsen Weltruhm erlangt. </p>



<p>Diese beeindruckenden weißen Klippen sind vor etwa 70 Millionen Jahren entstanden. Allerdings sind sie auch anfällig für Verwitterung. Stürme und heftige Regenfälle lassen immer wieder Teile der Küste abbrechen. Wer die Kreideküste besuchen möchte, sollte daher vorab die Website des Parks prüfen und die Hinweisschilder vor Ort beachten.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-8-nationalpark-vorpommersche-boddenlandschaft">8. Nationalpark Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft</h2>



<p>Der Nationalpark Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft ist vor allem für Vogelliebhaber*innen ein Must-See. Hier sind nicht nur Wildenten und Schwäne heimisch, im September gibt es jährlich ein echtes Naturschauspiel zu bewundern: Zehntausende Graukraniche machen auf ihrem Weg nach Süden hier kurz Rast. </p>



<p>Mit über 80 Prozent Wasserflächen ist dieses Naturschutzgebiet am besten per Boot zu erkunden. Aber auch zu Fuß gibt es viel zu entdecken: Am Darßer Weststrand, ein feinsandiger Strand auf der Ferieninsel Fischland-Darß-Zingst, kann man kilometerweit spazieren.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-9-nationalpark-eifel">9. Nationalpark Eifel</h2>



<p>Der Nationalpark Eifel liegt im Südwesten Nordrhein-Westfalens, nahe der belgischen Grenze, und schützt auf rund 110 Quadratkilometern eine beeindruckende Vielfalt an Landschaften. Dichte Buchenwälder, klare Bäche, weite Wiesen und der imposante Rursee prägen das Bild. Besucher können auf über 240 Kilometern markierter Wege wandern, Rad fahren oder historische Orte wie Monschau mit seinen Fachwerkhäusern entdecken. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-10-nationalpark-harz">10. Nationalpark Harz</h2>



<p>Der Nationalpark Harz erstreckt sich über 250 Quadratkilometer und ist einer der größten Waldnationalparks in Deutschland: 97 Prozent der gesamten Parkfläche sind mit Wald bedeckt. Den besten Blick über das Gebiet bietet der 1141 Meter hohe Brocken. </p>



<p>Der Nationalpark, der sich über Niedersachsen und Sachsen-Anhalt erstreckt, ist ein Ort vieler Legenden und Mythen über Hexen, Trolle und das Brockengespenst. Zu seiner gespenstischen Atmosphäre trägt bestimmt auch bei, dass das Mittelgebirge an mehr als 300 Tagen im Jahr zumindest teilweise von Nebel verhangen ist.</p>
