<p>Waffeln gibt es in den verschiedensten Formen und Varianten – sie alle sind irgendwie besonders und haben ihren ganz eigenen Charme. Doch für mich persönlich geht einfach nichts über die klassischen Waffeln in Herzform wie früher bei Oma.</p>

<p>Sie schmecken einfach am besten und das liegt mitunter an einer ganz bestimmten Geheimzutat. Welche? Na klar, eine Prise Liebe! Oder, wie ich später herausgefunden habe: eine Prise Zimt.</p>



<p>Dadurch haben Omas Waffeln immer diesen ganz bestimmten heimeligen Geschmack bekommen, der mich an frostige Herbst- oder schöne warme Frühlingstage erinnert. Einfach Balsam für die Seele. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_3">Die leckersten Toppings für die Waffeln</h2>



<p>Ganz klassisch nur mit Puderzucker bestäubt, schmecken die fluffigen Herzwaffeln schon himmlisch lecker. Wer aber Lust auf ein bisschen Abwechslung hat, toppt seine Waffeln mit den verschiedensten Leckereien. Hier kommen unsere Top 5 Toppings!</p>



<p class="p"><strong>1. Heiße Kirschen, Sahne und / oder Vanilleeis</strong><br>Das ist wohl ein echter Klassiker unter den Toppings. Die Kirschen sorgen für eine süße und leicht säuerliche Note, <a href="https://dev.gofeminin.de/kochen-backen/selbstgemachte-sahne-ein-himmlischer-genuss-s795612.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">selbstgemachte Schlagsahne</a> und Vanilleeis machen die Waffeln extra-saftig und passen einfach perfekt dazu.</p>



<p class="p"><strong>2. Nutella / Schokosoße</strong><br> Auch Schokolade passt ideal zu Waffeln. Dabei ist es egal, ob ihr Nutella, Schokosoße oder richtige Schokoladen-Stücke verwendet. Toppt das Ganze am Ende noch mit ein bisschen Puderzucker. So lecker!</p>



<p class="p"><strong>3. Banane, Erdbeeren, Früchte eurer Wahl</strong><br>Nicht nur Kirschen passen zu Waffeln. Ihr könnt sie natürlich mit jedem Obst eurer Wahl toppen. Unser Favorit: Bananen. Einfach klein schneiden und mit etwas Zimt bestreuen, schon habt ihr ein himmlisch leckeres Topping. Auch gefrorene Früchte machen sich ganz wunderbar auf Waffeln.</p>

<p class="p"><strong>5. Nüsse, Erdnussbutter und Schokolade</strong><br>Wem etwas Knusper auf den Waffeln fehlt und wer außerdem auf Nüsse steht, kann seine Waffeln auch hiermit toppen. Richtig lecker ist es, wenn ihr die Nüsse kleinhackt und dann kurz in einer Pfanne mit etwas Honig karamellisiert. Neben den Nüssen könnt ihr etwas Erdnussbutter oder Schokolade auf eure Waffeln geben – die Kombination ist einfach himmlisch.</p>



<p class="p"><strong>6. Eierlikör und Vanilleeis</strong><br>Alle Eierlikör-Fans dürfen sich freuen. Denn auch dieser macht sich richtig gut auf warmen Waffeln. Mit einer Kugel Vanilleeis dazu, wird das Ganze zum Gaumenschmaus!</p>
