<p class="p">Von verlassenen Orten bzw. Lost Places oder Abandoned Places geht eine magische Anziehung aus. Zu sehen, wie die Natur über die Zivilisation siegt und langsam zurückerobert, was der Mensch gebaut hat, ist super faszinierend. Finden Dystopie-Fans und Freizeitabenteurer. Die Suche nach Lost Places kann zur Sucht werden. Wer einmal Blut geleckt hat, will ständig neue verlassene Orte aufspüren und erkunden. Dieses Urban Exploring ist jedoch nicht immer ganz legal. <strong>Das unerlaubte Betreten von abgezäuntem Gelände zählt als Hausfriedensbruch. </strong>Rein rechtlich kann man dafür belangt werden.</p>

<p class="p">Aber wie heißt es so schön: Wo kein Richter, da kein Henker. Und so klettern viele Abenteuertouristen dennoch immer wieder über Absperrungen und durch offene Fenster. Der Reiz des Verbotenen ist für viele sogar elementar.<br>

Natürlich möchten wir hier niemanden dazu animieren, das Gesetz zu brechen. Denn oft hat das &#8222;Betreten verboten&#8220;-Schild am Lost-Place-Eingang einen guten Grund: Viele Gebäude sind alt und baufällig. Schon zum eigenen Schutz sollte man diese nicht einfach betreten, schon gar nicht nachts und alleine!</p>



<h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_1">Was sind Lost Places?</h2>



<p class="p">So ein verlassener und vergessener Ort kann im Grunde alles Menschgebaute sein. Ein stillgelegter Freizeitpark gehört ebenso dazu wie ein Krankenhaus, das nie fertig gebaut wurde, weil plötzlich die Gelder ausgegangen sind.<br>
<br>
Auch private Gebäude sind für Urban Explorer interessant. Hauptsache, sie sind seit geraumer Zeit menschenleer und der Natur überlassen.<br>

<p class="p">Viele Lost Places gibt es schon sehr lange. Um manche ranken sich sogar Sagen und Schauergeschichten. Doch der Großteil der verlassenen Orte ist in ständigem Fluss.<br>

Immer wieder werden Häuser stillgelegt, während andere saniert werden. Ein Lost Place, der gestern noch da war, kann in der nächsten Woche schon wieder verschwunden sein. Das macht die Jagd nach Abandoned Places extrem spannend.</p>

<p class="p">Es ist schwierig, Lost Places zu finden, da sie in der Regel in keinem Reiseführer gelistet sind. Auch die Urban Explorer, die sich mit jeder Menge Herzblut dem Erkunden der verlassenen Orten widmen, schweigen sich über den genauen Standort der Lost Places aus.<br>

<strong>Dass die Adresse geheimgehalten wird, hat einen guten Grund:</strong> Immer wieder werden Lost Places mutwillig zerstört. Das reicht von Graffiti über eingeschlagene Scheiben bis zu Müllhalden. Urban Explorer sehen es als ihre heilige Pflicht, den Vandalismus zu verhindern, sodass man die &#8222;Schönheit des Zerfalls&#8220; in aller Ruhe bestaunen kann – ohne Eingriffe des Menschen.<br>

Das Credo der Urbexer lautet daher &#8222;Take anything but pictures, leave nothing but footprints&#8220; (Nimm nichts mit außer Fotos, lasse nichts zurück außer Fußspuren). Ganz wichtig ist das Verbot, Dinge von Lost Places mitzunehmen. Strafrechtlich wäre das sogar ein Hausfriedensbruch mit Diebstahl.<br>

<p class="p">Statt bei Nacht und Nebel in Ruinen herumzuklettern, würden wir euch empfehlen, legale Lost Places aufzusuchen. Das sind alte Gebäude, die unter besonderem staatlichen oder privaten Schutz stehen und gepflegt werden. Man könnte sagen: Es sind kleine Kunstwerke aus vergangenen Tagen, die kuratiert werden wie in einem Museum.<br>
<br>
Das Gute: Legale Lost Places sind frei von Graffiti und sehen noch genauso aus wie zum Zeitpunkt der Gebäudeschließung. Prozesse der natürlichen Verwilderung werden dagegen selten gestoppt. UND: Ihr könnt das Gebäude betreten, ohne Angst haben zu müssen, dass euch das Dach über dem Kopf zusammenbricht.</p>

<p class="p">Deutschland mag bürokratischer sein als die meisten Nachbarländer, doch auch hier gibt es viele legale Lost Places, die ihr ohne schlechtes Gewissen besuchen dürft.<br>

<h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_5">1. Spreepark in Berlin-Plänterwald</h2>



<p class="p">Als deutscher Lost Place hat sich der Berliner Spreepark längst herumgesprochen. Genauer gesagt: Der ehemalige DDR-Freizeitpark vor Ort. Seit 2001 ist der Park stillgelegt. Doch seine alten Fahrgeschäfte lassen sich immer noch bewundern. Highlights sind die Achterbahn Spreeblitz, lebensgroße Dinofiguren und das 45 m hohe Riesenrad.</p>

<p class="p">Seit 2016 widmet sich die Unternehmensgruppe <a href="https://gruen-berlin.de/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Grün Berlin</a> der Sanierung des Parks. Die Pläne sehen vor, die Parksensationen mit modernen Brücken und Wegen zu verbinden und die Freizeitanlage so zu erhalten. <h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_6">2. Gefängnis des Amtsgerichts in Berlin-Köpenick</h2>



<p class="p">Ebenfalls in Berlin: Das ehemalige preußische Amtsgerichtsgefängnis aus dem Jahr 1899. Zur Kaiserzeit wurden im Gefängnis Sträflinge zur Untersuchungshaft untergebracht. In der Nazi-Zeit folterte man hier Juden, Kommunisten und andere &#8222;Reichsfeinde&#8220;.<br>
<br>
Mindestens 23 Menschen sind hinter den dicken Mauern gestorben. Nachdem das Gefängnis während der DDR-Zeit als NVA-Arrestanstalt und anschließend als TV-Requisitenkammer genutzt wurde, steht es seit den 80er Jahren leer.</p>

Das alte Gefängnis in Köpenick bietet mit seinen Miniaturzellen, Klapppritschen, Gittertreppen, Massivtüren und dunklen Gängen jede Menge origineller Fotomotive. Fototechnisch austoben dürft ihr euch hier ausschließlich bei gebuchten Touren, etwa bei der Berliner Agentur <a href="https://www.go2know.de/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">go2know</a>.<br>

<h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_7">3. Heilstätten in Beelitz bei Berlin</h2>



<p class="p">Als Lungenheilstätte für Frauen und Männer wurden die Beelitz-Heilstätten 1902 erbaut und in den 20er Jahren auf ein Areal von 200 qm erweitert. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg fiel das Gelände an die Sowjetunion und wurde zum Militärkrankenhaus.<br>
<br>
Im Sanatorium soll es spuken. Zudem wurden hier in der Vergangenheit einige grausame Morde verübt, sodass der schaurige Ruf der Beelitz-Heilstätten bis heute anhält. Lost-Place-Fans, Fotografen und Filmemacher lassen sich davon jedoch nicht verunsichern. Roman Polanski drehte hier beispielsweise das Kriegsdrama &#8218;Der Pianist&#8216; (2002).</p>

Aufgrund von Sanierungsmaßnahmen stehen leider nicht mehr sämtliche Gebäude zur Besichtigung frei. <h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_8">4. Heilstätte Grabowsee bei Berlin</h2>



<p class="p">Die Heilstätte am Grabowsee wurde 1896 vom Deutschen Roten Kreuz erbaut, um darin Tuberkulose-Patienten zu kurieren. In den Nachkriegsjahren wurde das Krankenhaus von 1945–1995 zum sowjetischen Lazarett.<br>
<br>
Die verlassenen Hallen des Backsteingebäudes mitten im Wald werden inzwischen gerne als schauriger Drehort für Spielfilme und Musikvideos genutzt.</p>

<h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_9">5. Haus der Offiziere in Zossen bei Berlin</h2>



<p class="p">Wünsdorf im Ortsteil Zossen (50 km südlich von Berlin) blickt auf eine bewegte militärische Vergangenheit zurück: Der preußische Truppenübungsplatz wurde in der NS-Zeit mit weiteren Bunkern und Kasernen ausgebaut.<br>
<br>
Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg übernahm Russland den Militätstandort, der nun als &#8222;Lenin-Stadt&#8220; geführt wurde – auch bekannt als die &#8222;Verbotene Stadt&#8220;, denn Kontakt zu den Deutschen war nicht erlaubt.</p>

<p class="p">Der alte Militärstützpunkt mit dem prachtvollen Haus der Offiziere ist eines der sensationellsten Lost Places in Deutschland. Kaum irgendwo ist die Dichte an Fotokulissen so hoch wie hier: verlassenes Schwimmbad, Theatersaal, Reithalle und Villa lassen sich allesamt besichtigen.<br>

<h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_10">6. Stadtbad Leipzig</h2>



<p class="p">In Leipzig könnt ihr das wunderschöne Jugendstil-Bad aus dem Jahr 1916 bestaunen, begehen und fotografieren. Geschlossen wurde das Bad 2004. Es laufen Sanierungen und Teile des Bades werden für Veranstaltungen und Konzerte genutzt.</p>

<h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_11">7. Alte Porzellanfabrik in Arzberg (Bayern)</h2>



<p class="p">In Bayern oder besser gesagt in Oberfranken steht eine alte Porzellanfabrik als legaler Lost Place zur Besichtigung offen. Gebaut wurde die Fabrik im Jahr 1872 und wechselte mehrfach den Besitzer. Der Letzte hinterließ nach der Insolvenz 2013 eine Fabrik voller Restposten, als hätten alle Arbeiter fluchtartig ihren Platz verlassen.</p>

<h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_12">8. Grand Hotel Waldlust in Freudenstadt (Baden-Württemberg)</h2>



<p class="p">Das Grand Hotel Waldlust in Freudenstadt wurde 1902 eröffnet und beherbergte Könige und Filmstars. Doch das Waldschlösschen wurde zum Spukschloss, als 1949 die damalige Hotelbesitzerin in ihrem Zimmer gewaltsam zu Tode kam. Später wurde das Hotel zum Lazarett und die Gruselgeschichten um die Geisterfrau rissen nicht ab.<br>
<br>
Seit 2005 steht das luxuriöse Waldhotel leer. Es wird nur hin und wieder für Filmdrehs oder Lost-Place-Touren aus seinem Dornröschenschlaf gerissen.</p>

<h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_13">9. Stadtbad Krefeld (Nordrhein-Westfalen)</h2>



<p class="p">Ein hübsches Jugendstilbad könnt ihr auch in NRW besichtigen: Das alte Krefelder Stadtbad. Erbaut wurde es 1890 als öffentliche Badeanstalt, weil zu der Zeit kaum jemand eine Dusche oder andere richtige Bademöglichkeiten hatte. Seit 2000 ist das Bad geschlossen.</p>

<h2 class="title wp-block-heading" id="title_14">10. Autofriedhof im Neandertal bei Düsseldorf (NRW)</h2>



<p class="p">Für Nostalgiker und Autobegeisterte ist der Neandertaler Autofriedhof der perfekte Lost Place. Hier hat der Besitzer Michael Fröhlich seit 2000 über 50 Oldtimer aus dem Jahr 1950 als Autoskulpturenpark mitten im Wald gesammelt. Die alten Buicks und Rolls Royces verwittern nun zwischen Bäumen, Hecken und Gräsern heiter vor sich hin.</p>
