Das sieht zwar super stylisch aus, doch die schlechte Nachricht: Ähnlich wie das <a href="/modetrends/daith-piercing-s2423974.html">Daith-Piercing</a> zählt auch das Rook zu den recht schmerzhaften Piercings, da hier durch sehr festes Knorpelgewebe gestochen wird. Hinzu kommt eine recht lange Heilungsdauer.</p>

</div></figure><p class="p"><strong>Übrigens: </strong>Benannt wurde das Ohrpiercing nach dem Piercer Rik Dakota, dessen Spitzname &#8222;Rook&#8220; ist. Der Amerikaner soll 1992 der erste Mensch gewesen sein, der dieses Knorpelpiercing gestochen hat.</p>
<h2 id="title_1" class="title wp-block-heading">Rook-Piercing: So wird das Ohrpiercing gestochen</h2>
<p class="p">Wie bei anderen Piercings auch wird vor der eigentlichen Behandlung das Ohr zunächst gründlich desinfiziert und die Einstichstelle mit einem Stift markiert.<br>
<br>
Da das Knorpelgewebe an der Antihelix, an der das Rook-Piercing sitzt, extrem dick ist, wird zum Piercen in der Regel eine gebogene Nadel und/oder eine sogenannte Receiving Tube verwendet.<br>
<br>
Eine Receiving Tube ist eine kleine Röhre, die am Ende geschlossen ist und während dem Stechen hinter das Ohr gehalten wird, sodass Gegendruck entsteht. Die Röhre schützt so das umliegende Gewebe vor Verletzungen.</p>
<h2 id="title_2" class="title wp-block-heading">Rook-Piercing: Wie schmerzhaft ist das Piercen?</h2>
<p class="p">So schön das Rook-Piercing auch aussieht – leider sollen die Schmerzen beim Stechen nicht ganz ohne sein. Das Knorpelgewebe ist an dieser Stelle extrem dick und von vielen kleinen Nerven durchzogen. Deswegen gehört das Rook-Piercing auch zu den schmerzhafteren Ohrpiercings. Wie groß die Schmerzen sind, hängt natürlich vom eigenen Schmerzempfinden ab.<br>
<br>
<strong>Aber: Das Piercen dauert nur wenige Sekunden, sodass sich die Schmerzen gut aushalten lassen.</strong> Nach dem Stechen schwillt das Ohr meist etwas an, pocht oder fühlt sich heiß an. Auch diese Beschwerden klingen aber nach kurzer Zeit wieder ab.</p>

<h2 id="title_3" class="title wp-block-heading">Rook-Piercing stechen lassen: Das sind die Risiken</h2>
<p class="p">Das Rook-Piercing wird durch relativ dickes Knorpelgewebe gestochen und bringt daher einige Risiken mit sich. Auch der Heilungsprozess verläuft nicht immer ganz so schnell und unkompliziert wie bei einem klassischen Ohrloch.<br>
<br>
Verfängt sich euer Piercing zum Beispiel häufig in Kleidung oder in den Haaren oder wird starker Druck auf die Stelle ausgeübt, z.B. beim Schlafen, Tragen von Kopfhörern oder Telefonieren, dann können teils sehr starke Schmerzen auftreten. 
 

Außerdem kann es während der Wundheilung zur Neubildung von Gewebe kommen. Dieses Gewebe bildet der Körper, um die Verletzung zu bekämpfen.<br>
<br>
Entzündet sich das Piercing, sollte unbedingt sofort ein Arzt oder ein Piercer aufgesucht werden. Breitet sich nämlich eine Entzündung oder Infektion über die Lymphgefäße und das Innenohr auf den Gesichtsnerv aus, kann es im allerschlimmsten Fall zu einer Gesichtslähmung oder Beeinträchtigung des Gesichtsnervs kommen.

<h2 id="title_4" class="title wp-block-heading">Wie teuer ist ein Rook-Piercing?</h2>
<p class="p">Wie viel das Stechen des Rook-Piercings kostet, lässt sich pauschal nicht sagen. Die Kosten variieren meist von Studio zu Studio und von Region zu Region.<br>
<br>
In der Regel müsst ihr für das Ohrpiercing aber zwischen 30 bis 80 Euro bezahlen. Im Preis ist meist nicht nur das Piercen an sich, sondern auch der Erstschmuck sowie Pflegemittel enthalten.</p>

<h2 id="title_5" class="title wp-block-heading">Rook-Piercing: Alles zur Heilung und richtigen Pflege</h2>
<p class="p">Bis ein Rook-Piercing vollständig abgeheilt ist, dauert es meist drei bis sechs Monate. In manchen Fällen kann die Heilung aber auch länger dauern. Damit das Piercing möglichst reibungslos und schnell verheilt, solltet ihr nach dem Stechen auf folgende Dinge achten:</p>

	<li>Finger weg vom Piercing! Je mehr ihr es bewegt oder daran herumspielt, desto größer ist das Risiko einer Entzündung. Falls ihr es dennoch anfassen müsst: Hände vorher gut waschen und desinfizieren.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>Einstichstelle dreimal täglich mit Desinfektionsspray (gibt es im Piercing-Studio oder <a href="https://amzn.to/3dWF5sQ" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hier bei Amazon</a>*) einsprühen.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>In den ersten Tagen auf blutverdünnende Medikamente (z.B. Aspirin) verzichten und das Piercing vor Seife, Shampoo und Haarspray schützen.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>In den ersten zwei Wochen auf Schwimmbad-, Solarium-, und Saunabesuche sowie bestimmte Sportarten (Ballsport, Turnen, &#8230;) verzichten.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>Vermeidet starken Druck auf dem Piercing (z.B. durch Mützen, Kopfhörer oder Draufliegen).</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>Eventuell entstehende Krusten können vorsichtig mit warmem Kamillenwasser entfernt werden.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>Piercing sollte auf keinen Fall herausgenommen werden.</li>

<h2 id="title_6" class="title wp-block-heading">Rook-Piercing: Diesen Schmuck gibt es</h2>
<p class="p">Sobald euer Ohrpiercing vollständig abgeheilt ist, könnt ihr den Medizinstecker durch anderen Ohrschmuck austauschen lassen. Für das Rook-Piercing werden meist kleine Ringe verwendet.<br>

Hier kommen alle Arten von Piercingringen in Frage, zum Beispiel klassische Ball Closure Ringe, Segment Clicker oder Hufeisen. Besonders beliebt sind übrigens auffällige Ringe in Gold oder Ringe mit Glitzer-Steinchen.<br>

Wer keinen Ring möchte, der kann für das Rook natürlich auch eine Banane, also ein Curved Barbell verwenden. Auch die gibt es inzwischen in allen Farben und Designs.</p>
