Ihr habt nichts mit dem Flughafen-Chaos am Hut, es ist meist günstiger als eine Fernreise und auch eure Haustiere könnt ihr viel einfacher mit in den Urlaub nehmen. Außerdem hat Deutschland viele tolle Regionen zu bieten, die den goldenen Oktober zu einem echten Highlight machen.</p>



<p class="p">Beliebte Urlaubsregionen wie die Ostseeküste, den Bayerischen Wald, den Schwarzwald oder den Bodensee kennen wohl die meisten. Doch wart ihr schonmal im Fichtelgebirge? <h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_2">2. Fischland-Darß-Zingst (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern)</h2>



<p class="p">Unter den Nordlichtern als &#8222;Deutsche Karibik&#8220; aufgrund der puderweißen Sandstrände bekannt, liegt die 45 Kilometer lange Halbinsel Fischland-Darß-Zingst zwischen Rostock und Stralsund an der Ostseeküste.<br>
<br>
Der Nationalpark Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft, welcher einen Großteil der Insel ausmacht, und die Küstenregion lassen die Herzen von Naturliebhabern schneller schlagen. Ein besonderes Spektakel findet im Herbst auf der Halbinsel statt: Dann können Besucher*innen nämlich von mehreren Orten rund um den Barther Bodden die Kraniche beobachten, die sich im Nationalpark sammeln und rasten, um anschließend gemeinsam ins Winterquartier nach Afrika und Südeuropa zu fliegen.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_3">3. Stettiner Haff (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern)</h2>



<p class="p">Das Stettiner Haff, auch Oderhaff und Pommersches Haff genannt, ist ein inneres Küstengewässer und die zweitgrößte Lagune der Ostsee. Es liegt grenzübergreifend in Deutschland und Polen und schneidet die Insel Usedom vom Festland ab.<br>
<br>
Für Wassersportfans geht es zum Segeln oder Surfen. Im Landschaftsschutzgebiet Anklamer Stadtbruch lässt es sich hervorragend Wandern oder Radfahren. Sehenswert ist zudem der größte und bekannteste Ort am deutschen Teil des Haffs: Ueckermünde. Ein weiteres Highlight sind außerdem die 15 Meter hohen Altwarper Binnendünen, die ein Relikt der Eiszeit sind.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_4">4. Niedersächische Elbtalaue (Niedersachsen)</h2>



<p class="p">Das UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat &#8222;Niedersächsische Elbtalaue&#8220; lockt mit ursprünglichen Flusslandschaften, Feuchtwiesen und Auwäldern. Es liegt direkt an der Elbe und ist rund eineinhalb Autostunden von Lüneburg entfernt.<br>
<br>
Zahlreich gefährdete Tierarten wie der Elbe-Bieber, der ab 1819 als ausgestorben galt, der Fischotter oder der Weißstorch lassen sich in dieser Region beobachten. Ob mit dem Ausflugsdampfer, hoch zu Ross, per Fahrrad oder zu Fuß – das Reservat kann aus vielen Blickwinkeln erkundet werden. Wer mag, erlebt die facettenreiche Natur auf einer geführten Wanderung.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_5">5. Teutoburger Wald (Nordrhein-Westfalen / Niedersachsen)</h2>



<p class="p">Das Mittelgebirge erstreckt sich vom Tecklenburger Land im nördlichen Westfalen über Bielefeld bis nach Horn-Bad Meinberg im Nordosten von Nordrhein-Westfalen. Bekannt ist der Teutoburger Wald nicht nur bei Historik-Fans durch die Varusschlacht zwischen Römern und Germanen im Jahr 9 n. Chr.<br>
<br>
Eine besondere Sehenswürdigkeit der Region sind die Externsteine bei Horn-Bad Meinberg. Dabei handelt es sich um 40 Meter hohe Sandsteinfelsen, die Monolith-artig aus dem Boden ragen und zusammen mit dem nahe gelegenen See eine unwirklich erscheinende Landschaft abgeben.<br>
<br>
Lohnenswert ist auch ein Besuch des Hermannsdenkmals auf der Groteburg in der Nähe von Detmold-Hiddesen oder die Burg Ravensberg in Bielefeld.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_6">6. Dübener Heide (Sachsen-Anhalt / Sachsen)</h2>



<p class="p">Die Landschaft der Dübener Heide erstreckt sich zwischen dem Osten Sachsen-Anhalts und dem Norden von Sachsen und ist nicht nur der größte Mischwald, sondern auch der jüngste Naturpark Deutschlands.<br>
<br>
Auf rund 500 Kilometern lässt es sich hier prima wandern, radeln oder spazieren. Durch natürliche Moorflächen und Wasserlandschaften sind hier Kraniche, Wildgänse, Flussbiber und sogar Rothirsche zu Hause, die mit etwas Glück auch beim Segeln oder Paddeln beobachtet werden können.<br>
<br>
Wellness-Aktivitäten sind in den Kurorten Bad Düben oder Bad Schmiedeberg ebenso möglich wie royales Sightseeing im Wasserschloss Reinharz oder im Schloss Hartenfels. Für einen Ausflug mit Kindern bietet sich die Eilenburg an. Hier befindet sich ein Tierpark sowie der Hoch- und Niedrigseilgarten Rubiconpark.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_7">7. Sächsisches Elbland (Sachsen)</h2>



<p class="p">Im sächsischen Elbland befinden sich bekannte Städte wie Dresden, Radebeul oder Torgau. Doch auch eines der kleinsten sowie das östlichste Weinanbaugebiet Deutschlands ist hier beheimatet.<br>

Das Schloss Pillnitz und die Elbinsel gewähren einen schönen Ausblick auf die Weinberge, während in Meißen, einst sächsische Residenzstadt, das Weingut Schloss Proschwitz zu Weinabenden oder Weinberg-Wanderungen einlädt. Ebenfalls in Meißen ansässig ist die älteste Porzellan-Manufaktur Europas und das vermutlich älteste Schloss Deutschlands: die Albrechtsburg.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_8">8. Burgwald (Hessen)</h2>



<p class="p">In Nord- und Mittelhessen liegt die Region Burgwald. In ihrer Mitte befinden sich die Franzosenwiesen, ein wertvolles Naturrefugium mit Mooren, Feuchtwiesen und Auenwäldern. Hier befinden sich sogenannte &#8222;Baum-Veteranen&#8220;, meist mehrere hundert Jahre alte Bäume, darunter die Gerichtseiche am Galgenberg in Rosenthal oder die über 700 Jahre alte Sommerlinde in Himmelsberg.<br> <br> Historisch Interessierte erklimmen den 387 Meter hohen Christberg, auf dessen Spitze keltische und fränkische Festungsanlagen, ein Friedhof sowie die Martinskirche stehen.</p>

<p class="p">Der Westerwald ist ein deutsches Mittelgebirge, das sich über die Bundesländer Rheinland-Pfalz, Hessen und Nordrhein-Westfalen erstreckt.<br>

Das Mittelgebirge hat einiges zu bieten: Wandern zum Druidenstein in Kirchen an der Sieg, Wassersport an der Krombachtalsperre, Klettern am Klettersteig in Hölderstein oder Sightseeing in Hachenburg mit Einkehr im ältesten deutschen Gasthaus aus Stein. <h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_10">10. Siebengebirge (Nordrhein-Westfalen)</h2>



<p class="p">Mehr als 40 Berge befinden sich in der Region des Siebengebirges, das rund 20 Autominuten von Bonn liegt. Unter den sieben bekanntesten sind Löwenburg, Wolkenburg oder der Drachenfels – auf letzterem thront das Schloss Drachenburg. Mit der Drachenfelsbahn, der ältesten Zahnradbahn Deutschlands, erreicht man das Schloss ohne große Mühe. Oben angekommen wartet eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf euch.<br>
<br>
Das Siebengebirge ist eine wunderbare Gegend für alle, die gerne wandern gehen. Routen gibt es viele. Ambitionierte Wanderer erklimmen den Ölberg – mit 461 Metern der höchste Berg des Naturparks. Lohnenswert ist außerdem ein Abstecher nach Rhöndorf, dem nördlichsten Stadtteil von Bad Honnef. Bekannt wurde Rhöndorf durch Deutschlands ersten Kanzler, Konrad Adenauer. Besucher können sein ehemaliges Wohnhaus, die ständige Ausstellung im Adenauer-Haus sowie sein Grab auf dem Waldfriedhof besichtigen.</p>

<p class="p">Wer die Natur liebt, wird die Vulkaneifel lieben. Die unberührte Natur sowie versteckte Burgen laden zum Entdecken, Wandern oder Radeln ein. Der UNESCO-Geopark Vulkaneifel ist vor allem für seine Maare, durch vulkanische Wasserdampfexplosionen geschaffene Krater, bekannt.<br>

Krimi-Fans kommen in Hillesheim auf ihre Kosten – ein Besuch der Original-Schauplätze der Eifelkrimis, Rundfahrten mit dem Krimibus oder das Kriminalhaus lassen die Herzen von Hobby-Detektiven in der selbsternannten Krimi-Hauptstadt höher schlagen.</p>

<p class="p">Gelegen zwischen Schwarzwald und Rhein finden Besucher*innen die beliebte Ferienregion Kaiserstuhl. Die Region, die einst durch Vulkanismus ihre Gestalt erhielt, verwöhnt mit dem wärmsten Klima Deutschlands und ist ein wahres Paradies für Weinliebhaber*innen: Weingüter und Weinmanufakturen laden zu Verkostungen ein, ebenso wie die zahlreichen Strauß- oder Besenwirtschaften, die regionale Leckereien servieren, z.B. Walnusstorte oder Kaiserstühler Landeis.</p>

<p class="p">Im Südwesten Deutschlands, an der Grenze zu Frankreich und der Schweiz, liegt das Markgräfler Land, auch &#8222;Deutsche Toskana&#8220; genannt – denn das hiesige milde Klima eignet sich ideal für den Weinanbau, der hier auf einer Fläche von über 3.000 Hektar kultiviert wird.<br>

Kulinarisch wird die Region auch von elsässischen und schweizerischen Einflüssen bestimmt, eine besondere Spezialität ist die Winzerschnitte – ein mit Weißwein getränktes Bauernbrot, belegt mit Schmand, Schinken, geriebenem Käse und etwas Rahm.<br>

Feste wie das Chilbi, die alemannische Fastnacht oder das älteste Erntedankfest Deutschlands namens &#8222;Sichelhenke&#8220; sorgen für kulturell-traditionelles Flair.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading title" id="title_14">14. Fichtelgebirge (Bayern)</h2>



<p class="p">In der Grenzregion von Bayern und Tschechien liegt das 1.051 Meter hohe Fichtelgebirge. Früher wurde das Fichtelgebirge als &#8222;Herzbrunnen Europas&#8220; bezeichnet, denn hier entspringen mit Main, Eger, Naab und Saale vier bedeutende Flüsse in alle vier Himmelsrichtungen.<br>
<br>
Natur-Highlights der Region sind unter anderem das Luisenburg-Felsenlabyrinth und die &#8222;Drei Brüder&#8220; bei Wunsiedel. Die Ruinen der Waldsteinburg und der Teufelstisch liegen im Großen Waldstein im nördlichen Fichtelgebirge.</p>

<p class="p">Die Region erstreckt sich zwischen Baden-Württemberg und Bayern und ist ein wahres Outdoor-Paradies. Viele Fernwanderwege wie der Fränkische Jakobsweg, der Wanderweg Romantische Straße oder der Zollernweg führen durch die Frankenhöhe.</p>
